Endoscopic inspection of lime kilns is a useful tool for monitoring the conditions of the refractories.

The pictures & movies captured by the endocopic survey support the decision making for repair activities, or investment programs. 

 

Ceramic Welding

FIBS has developed several grades of ceramic welding powder to repair or consolidate different areas of the lime kilns : crowns, suspended inner cylinder, cross-over channels, ... Ceramic welding is the most suited to gunning, providing a much longer lifetime of the repairs.
